Kombucha
Tea has become as necessary to me as smiling, I have been making and using the 'tea of immortality' for about eight months
now, and am wondering how I survived for almost seventy years without it. It is (to quote Martha) 'a good thing'. Now
about the cosmetic uses: Used daily as an after-shower facial splash, it has improved skin tone and texture more drastically
than anything else I have ever used. I use well-aged KT for this (pour some off and let it get quite strong). And no, you
won't smell like a pickle (this was my daughter's concern) because the skin absorbs it very fast. If you want to smell divine,
give your face a spray with lavender hydrosol before applying your own homemade cream. Don't try to use the KT in a
spray bottle - this is a living entity and will soon start to grow tiny 'babies' that will clog up your sprayer. Just pat
it on. Because the liquid is vibrantly alive, I envisage it pouncing on my skin and going to work fixing it up. This
has to be the world's only living cosmetic - and don't forget, the stuff is FREE. You can also use it as a deodorant,
a foot soak, a facial base or a wonderful ingredient in homemade creams or lotions. (Recipes are on the next page). KT will
care for your acid mantle and satisfy your skin.
